Thank you to everyone who came to our concert last night in aid of Bill Stephenson. It was an extremely well attended and emotional evening. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. Bill has been involved with Chester-le-Street Community Centre for over 50 years and without him it would no longer exist. During this time Bill has touched so many people’s lives and is our ‘Honorary Life Present’. Again, without him there would be no Theatre Group! In recognition of this it was revealed last night that forever more we shall be rehearsing and performing in the ‘Bill Stephenson Hall’!
Bill was also presented with a defibrillator for the Community Centre by the Rotary Club and Friends of Chester-le-Street Hospital (pictured with our Director and Community Centre Manager Julie).
